How the app connects
The platform is built around a simple flow: prepare your team, record the match, then use the same data for review and longer-term analysis.
Prepare — build your squad, player profiles and lineup groups.
Track — create a match and record events, lineups, time and game context on the Match Board.
Review — open Match Detail and Player Detail to examine one match or one player more closely.
Analyse — combine multiple matches in Analytics to follow team, player and lineup performance over time.
Because these areas use the same connected data, the quality of later analysis depends on how consistently the match is prepared and tracked.

You do not need to use every advanced feature in your first match. A simple first route through FloorballStats is:
- Set up your players and a Default Lineup Group in Squad Manager.
- Open Settings and configure the tracking environment you want to use.
- Create a new match and prepare the relevant match and Opposition information.
- Track the match on the Match Board, keeping the active lineup and core events consistent.
- Review the finished game in Match Detail and individual performances in Player Detail.
- As your tracked sample grows, use Analytics for longer-term team, player and lineup evaluation.
The individual guides above explain each of these areas in detail. This overview can stay as your starting point whenever you need to move between them.
For a new team, the most useful next step is usually Squad Manager, followed by Settings and then Match Board & Live Analysis.
