1. Cookies and similar browser technologies
Cookies are small text files stored by a website in a visitor’s browser. Websites can also use similar technologies such as local storage to remember settings or identifiers.
This website uses local storage to remember your analytics choice. Google Analytics cookies are created only after you select “Accept analytics”.
2. Current setup
FloorballStats currently uses a basic consent approach:
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 do not load before analytics consent.
- Selecting “Accept analytics” loads the analytics container and allows Google Analytics cookies.
- Selecting “Reject analytics” keeps analytics disabled.
- You can reopen the consent panel through “Cookie settings” in the footer and change your choice at any time.
- Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization are set to denied.
The website does not currently use advertising, behavioral profiling or cross-site marketing cookies.

Netlify processes network requests and technical information needed to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the website. Any strictly necessary infrastructure technology is used only for those purposes and is not used by FloorballStats for advertising.
4. Consent and withdrawal
Optional analytics remains disabled until you make a clear choice. Refusing analytics is available in the same consent panel as accepting it.
To change your choice, select “Cookie settings” in the website footer. If analytics had already loaded and you reject it, the website removes recognized Google Analytics cookies for the FloorballStats domain and reloads the page so the analytics container is no longer active.
You can also clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Clearing the stored preference will cause the consent panel to appear again on your next visit.
5. Analytics provider and browser controls
After consent, Google Analytics 4 may receive information such as visited pages, referral source, interactions, approximate location, language, browser, device information and analytics identifiers. We use this information to understand broad website usage and improve the site.
Google Tag Manager is used to manage the Google Analytics tag. Tag Manager itself does not replace the consent panel; our website controls whether the container is loaded.
For more information about Google’s processing, see the Google Privacy Policy.
You can remove or block cookies through your browser settings and can clear the fs-analytics-consent local-storage item through the browser’s website-data controls. Blocking optional analytics does not prevent you from using the public website or submitting the demo form.
6. Changes to this policy
We will update this page whenever the website starts or stops using a material cookie, analytics service, embedded tool or similar browser technology.
